I DID go straight for a cheeseburger meal at Macca’s. Fries never tasted so good. No regrets.

Haha! My husband begged for KFC right after his. I vetoed it and gave him chicken noodle soup instead. He still tells people I “cruelly denied” him fried chicken. Honestly, I think I saved him a stomachache!

I always suggest easing back in gently. When I worked as a carer, we would serve pumpkin soup and soft bread. Glen, I don’t know how your stomach handled BBQ sauce so soon after 😅

I was the opposite - I craved something mild, so I had dal with rice. Comforting, not too heavy. Pancakes sound amazing though, Jess — might try that next time… but hoping there isn’t a next time!

@glenstayscool Ooooh Glen, that actually made my stomach growl. I went for pancakes with maple syrup. After a day of apple juice and broth, fluffy carbs were everything.

Bacon & egg roll, extra BBQ sauce. Worth the wait.
